Biography

Li Yuchen (LYCHEN) was born in Xinjiang, China, in 2001. Li is a cross-disciplinary artist and director whose practice spans experimental theatre, virtual production, digital art, and philosophy-based narrative.

Li’s artistic practice is rooted in an interdisciplinary philosophical narrative that traverses digital visual experimentation, painting, installation, moving image, experimental music, and performance, extending into virtual reality and artificial intelligence. Through cross-media experimentation, his work explores counter-archaeology and ecological evolution. His creative approach is grounded in constructing visual and perceptual systems that reflect upon the future, establishing dialogues that interweave art, philosophy, and logic. Li is dedicated to articulating the trinity between existence, life, and environment across multidimensional media.
