DOMAIN³ is a triptych built around a triadic structure of sensation, time, and being, asking how the human self continues to regenerate within a world defined by displacement and constant transformation. Drawing from the framework of the “five senses and three inner senses,” the work weaves together touch, hearing, and sight with pain perception, balance, and interoception. In this configuration, the body is no longer a passive receiver of stimuli—it becomes the very engine through which narrative is produced.
The first panel represents the past, anchored in sensory memory: gestures of touching, listening, and looking shape the earliest coordinates through which we enter the world.The second panel speaks to the present, where the generative and reproductive capacities of the body act as structural forces—continually breaking down, rearranging, and reassembling reality. The third panel gestures toward the future, imagining a mode of perception that exceeds the human scale: a hybrid of technology, symbols, and corporeal experience that gives rise to new forms of sensing.
Across the triptych, displacement functions as the invisible motor of change. The subject drifts from one sensory field to another, from one temporal current into the next. Each shift becomes a quiet act of rebirth. The work treats this ongoing rebirth as a continuous process of becoming-sensing—a movement that belongs simultaneously to the body, to history, and to the unfolding of one’s fate.
